La Colombière is an entirely day school with two sections; Pre-Primary (Nursery), Primary following the Rwanda National curriculum. The School is headed by a 9-member Board of Governors, a Principal and a Director of Studies.
Other than the Board of Directors, the School has a Parents’ Committee constituted of a President, Vice-President, and a Secretary, linking parents and the School administration and actively participate in drawing the action plan.
The Nursery section with 12 streams has Nursery 1 (for the 3 years old), 2 (for the 4 years old), and 3 (for the 5 years old), managed by a team of 31 professionals in nursery teaching.
The Primary section is supported by 63 dedicated and professional teachers, with Francophone and Anglophone sub-sections. In the English Section, French is taught as a subject and English taught as a subject in the French section up to Primary Five in an accelerated way, with one period per day.
